Our mission
- FCE wants to ensure that the fleet cards industry keeps providing supplies and vehicle-related services benefiting the B2B road transport community and wider European economy.
- FCE and its members are committed to facilitating the discussion with European policymakers about the treatment of supplies and vehicle related services by fleet card issuers from a VAT perspective.
- FCE and its members are committed to ensuring all relevant stakeholders understand the purpose of fleet cards and how the business model underpinning them works.
Mission statement
FCE as an association of European fleet card issuers is committed to illustrate and preserve the advantages of the fleet card issuers’ business model – namely the VAT chain sale business – for all market participants and interested parties.
What we do in the Tax working group
We focus on the following:
Sharing
Sharing knowledge on relevant changes to VAT legislation and excise duties at national level.
Monitoring
Monitoring relevant changes to VAT legislation at EU-level.
Engaging
Engaging with policymakers on specific issues to raise awareness around fleet cards and fleet card companies from a Tax perspective.
